The WGA authorized a strike if the current collective bargaining agreement that expires on May 1st isn't renewed.  Over 96% of the union voted to authorize. I won't get into the dirty details of why/what the issues are, but instead explore the ramifications for the entertainment industry and us consumers (I am still one of you you know!). The Phillies swept the Braves. The book signing was a great success and people seem to be really digging Shady Place. We celebrated Ashley's 30th birthday at one of her favorite restaurants. Had a fun time at the Daytona Beach Comic Con, didn't sell any of my books, but helped a good friend at his booth and had some laughs. First of all, hope everyone had a nice Easter Weekend, I took yesterday off from posting, but I'm back.  Did you miss me?  Come on you know you did! I never know what to expect when my day begins.  I think I know what's going to or should happen, but it never goes that way. Today was interesting. Things had calmed down in Shady Place since the incident, but Jim Phillips had found himself to be a bit of a celebrity. He couldn’t escape the adulation everywhere he went. He hated it. It was against every fiber of his being to be the center of attention, but there it was; he was the most popular man in town. Hiding did Jim no good.
